I'm Gina-Lily.
I didn’t set out to launch a natural skincare brand, but when my daughter, Avalon (one-half of my preemie twins) was born with reactive, extremely sensitive, eczema-prone skin, I dove into the science of cosmetic ingredients. I was shocked to find undefined, highly skin-irritating ‘parfum’ in all sorts of products that claimed to be for sensitive skin. I started to understand why my daughter’s skin reacted to even so-called ‘gentle’ or ‘natural’ baby products. I got tired of hunting for natural, clean products that were actually gentle, so I began formulating products for my family.
Turning 40 with twin toddlers took sleep deprivation to a whole new level! My skin was drier than ever, had started to sag, and those crow’s feet started to deepen. So, I began to formulate all-active botanical serums to nourish my dry, tired skin. I was so blown away by the results. My skin felt soft, smooth, and had a glow I hadn’t seen since my 20s! It felt like magic. I decided the products I’d created were too incredible not to share! I hope you love them as much as my family and I do!
Since I have ADHD, I knew needed something easy and potent to use on my skin that I wouldn’t have to use for 8(+) weeks in a row before seeing any results. So, I formulated (and re-formulated, and re-formulated, and re-formulated…) until, finally, I created the Lumina HYDRATE+GLOW serum duo. These two all-active serums work together to hydrate, nourish, and protect my dry, tired skin whether I remember to use them every day, twice a day, or once every month and a half. They meet me where I am. They deliver instant hydration and also nourish and build skin over time.
