What is Abyssinian Seed Oil?
Abyssinian Oil is a natural oil cold-pressed (without chemical solvents) from Crambe Abyssinica seeds, a multi-branched oil seed plant in the Brassicaceae family. The seed oil protects, moisturizes skin and hair, and even offers anti-inflammatory properties.

Very High Concentrations of Omega-9 and other Fatty Acids
Off-the-chart levels of Omega-9 (Erucic Acid) make this ultra-light oil intensely nourishing yet extremely quick to absorb. With even higher Omega fatty acid levels than Argan oil, this oil will quickly become a favourite in your skincare practice.
Mimics Human Sebum
Abyssinian oil can mimic human sebum and therefore it can help control sebum overproduction. Sebum is the main ingredient in your skin’s natural oils. Too much can make your skin oily, appear greasy, and your pores look larger. Excess sebum combined with dead skin cells can clog pores and causing acne, blackheads, and pimples.
Fast-absorbing, Non-Greasy, All-Star Emollient that Resists Oxidation
Abyssinian oil is light and easily absorbed, leaving no greasy, sticky residue behind. Unlike other plant oils, high levels of C22 fatty acids make it very resistant to oxidation. An excellent emollient Abyssinian oil is anti-inflammatory, cell-communicating, and skin conditioning, and aids in skin regeneration.
